Way Finding System Sioli 7

The student residence ‘Sioli 7’ is located on the Westend campus of the Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. The complex consists of seven individual residential towers, interconnected on the ground floor, and houses not only the student apartments themselves but also their administrative offices, the Catholic University Community, and the Protestant Student Community. Pikdrei developed a wayfinding system that reflects the block-like overall structure of the building ensemble: the isometric representation of the buildings and rooms, from the appropriate angle depending on the location, provides visitors with quick orientation. The three-dimensional look is applied across all design elements, from the house numbers to the restroom icons.
