student dormitory “Sioli 7”

The student dormitory „Sioli 7“ is placed on Campus Westend, a part of the Wolfgang Goethe-Universtität in Frankfurt. The dormitory contains seven residential towers which are connected in the ground floor area. Besides the actual student residencies the building contains the administration offices as well as the Catholic- and University-Community (KHG) and the Protestant Student Congregation (ESG).
Pikdrei developed a guidance system by using the characteristically block-like structure of the ensemble for the layouts, an isometric look for the presentation of rooms and buildings. This three-dimensional style was used for all design items – from the house numbers to the restroom markings.
